Our groups

The trail from Pre-Otters to Senior Explorers

Scouts progress through five age groups, from Pre-Otters (ages 3–4) to Senior Explorers (ages 15–18), each with its own skills, traditions, and challenges.

From there, the trail continues into leadership.

Ages 3–4

Pre-Otters

Where the trail begins.

Our youngest scouts start the trail through play and simple crafts. Pre-Otters learn to take turns and share a story together, and they grow comfortable in the scouting family before moving up to Otters.

Senior Explorers and beyond

Leader Assistant

Older scouts begin mentoring a group.
